Tempe Public School is a comprehensive primary school for 320 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our school is located in the Inner West and has a diverse and vibrant mix of students and families.
Our vision is to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment where students access a comprehensive curriculum. We set high expectations for learning so that all students can reach their academic potential and become responsible citizens and confident lifelong learners.
To do this we ensure there is an emphasis on quality teaching and continuous improvement of learning outcomes for all our students. Our school is committed to providing rich programs to develop skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration and technology to enable students to reach their full potential educationally, socially and emotionally. We strive for our students to be confident, creative and resilient. We encourage curiosity, optimism and mutual respect.
Our school is committed to community partnerships as part of the Newtown Network of Schools (Newtown, Newtown North, Camdenville, Darlington PS and Australia Street Infants School).
